Plank Shoulder Tap

Instructions
A straight-arm plank in which you lift one hand to tap the opposite shoulder and then the other. Each tap leaves you on one arm, so the trunk must work hard to stop the hips from rotating.

Setup
- 1Start in a straight-arm plank with hands under the shoulders and feet slightly wider than hip-width.
- 2Brace so the body forms one straight line.
Execution
- 1Shift a little weight onto one hand and lift the other to tap the opposite shoulder.
- 2Return the hand and tap with the other side.
- 3Keep the hips square to the floor and the pace controlled.
