Cable Side Bend

Instructions
A standing sideways bend against a low cable. It trains the muscles along the side of your waist to tilt the trunk and bring it back upright under smooth, adjustable resistance.

Setup
- 1Set the pulley to the lowest position and attach a single handle.
- 2Stand side-on to the machine and hold the handle in the hand nearer to it, arm straight at your side.
- 3Step away until the cable is taut, with feet hip-width apart and your free hand resting on your hip.
Execution
- 1Let the cable tilt your torso a short way toward the machine, keeping your hips still.
- 2Pull yourself back upright using the far side of your waist.
