Side Lunge Stretch
Also known as: Static Lateral Lunge Stretch, Adductor Lunge Stretch
Instructions
Holding the bottom of a wide side lunge, one knee bent and the other leg straight, stretches the inner thigh of the straight leg. It is a standing alternative to the floor-based adductor stretches.

Setup
- 1Stand with the feet very wide and the toes pointing forward.
- 2Place the hands on the thighs or clasp them in front of the chest.
Execution
- 1Bend one knee and sit the hips back and toward that side, keeping the other leg straight.
- 2Keep both feet flat and the chest up, feeling the stretch along the inside of the straight leg.
- 3Hold, then shift across to the other side.
