Barbell Glute Bridge

Instructions
A glute bridge from the floor with a barbell across your hips. It needs no bench, feels very stable, and is a simple way to load the glutes before moving on to hip thrusts.

Setup
- 1Sit on the floor with your legs straight and roll a loaded barbell over your legs to the crease of your hips.
- 2Place a pad or folded mat between the bar and your hips for comfort.
- 3Lie back, bend your knees, and plant your feet flat about hip-width apart.
- 4Hold the bar with both hands to keep it from rolling.
Execution
- 1Gently tuck your ribs down and press through your heels to lift your hips.
