Foam Roll Calves
Also known as: Calf Foam Rolling, Lower Leg Roll
Instructions
A seated drill where your lower legs rest on a foam roller and you glide slowly from above the ankle to below the knee. A simple warm-up for the calves before running, jumping, or squatting.

Setup
- 1Sit on the floor with legs straight and the roller under both calves, just above the ankles.
- 2Place your hands on the floor beside or slightly behind your hips, fingers pointing forward or out to the sides.
Execution
- 1Press into your hands to lift your hips a little off the floor.
- 2Shift your body forward so the roller travels slowly up the calves, stopping below the back of the knee.
