Foam Roll Lats

Instructions
A side-lying drill where the roller sits under the broad muscle below your armpit and you glide slowly along it. A pleasant way to prepare the shoulders for pulling or overhead work.

Setup
- 1Lie on your right side with the roller under the outer edge of your back, just below the armpit.
- 2Reach your right arm long overhead with the thumb pointing up, bend your knees, and place your left hand on the floor in front of you for balance.
Execution
- 1Push gently with your feet so the roller travels a short way down the side of your back.
- 2Stop around the bottom of the ribs, then let it travel back up toward the armpit.
