Prone Y Raise

Instructions
Lying face down, you lift your straight arms into a Y shape using the muscles around your shoulder blades. The weight of your arms is plenty, which makes it a gentle upper-back builder you can do anywhere.

Setup
- 1Lie face down on the floor with your forehead resting on a folded towel or hovering just above the ground.
- 2Reach your arms overhead and out at an angle so your body forms a Y.
- 3Turn your thumbs up toward the ceiling.
Execution
- 1Gently draw your shoulder blades down and back.
- 2Lift both arms a few inches off the floor, keeping your elbows straight.
