Wall Slide

Instructions
A standing drill where your arms glide up and down a wall in a goalpost shape. It practices raising the arms overhead with control while the ribs and lower back stay still.

Setup
- 1Stand with your back against a wall, feet a small step forward and knees slightly bent.
- 2Rest your head, upper back, and hips on the wall, then bring your arms up into a goalpost shape with the backs of your arms touching the wall as closely as is comfortable.
Execution
- 1Slide your arms up the wall, straightening the elbows as far as you can while keeping contact.
- 2Stop when your arms or lower back start to pull away from the wall.
