Instructions
Lying on your side, you lift your top leg toward the ceiling and lower it slowly. A calm, low-skill way to strengthen the outer hip that needs no equipment at all.

Setup
- 1Lie on your side with your legs stacked and your head resting on your lower arm.
- 2Bend the bottom knee slightly for support and keep the top leg straight.
- 3Stack your hips one above the other and place your top hand on the floor in front of you.
Execution
- 1Lift the top leg up and slightly behind you, leading with the heel.
- 2Stop when you feel your hips want to roll backward.
