Band Lateral Walk

Instructions
With a band looped around your legs, you take slow sideways steps in a slight squat. Targets the muscles on the outside of the hips that keep your knees and pelvis steady.

Setup
- 1Loop a band around both legs just above your knees, or around your ankles for more challenge.
- 2Stand with feet hip-width apart so the band is already lightly stretched.
- 3Bend your knees and hips slightly and keep your chest lifted.
Execution
- 1Step one foot out to the side, pushing against the band with the outside of your leg.
- 2Follow slowly with the trailing foot, stopping at hip width so the band stays taut.
