Standing Quad Stretch
Also known as: Standing Quadriceps Stretch, Heel-to-Glute Stretch
Instructions
A simple standing stretch for the front of the thigh. You hold one foot behind you and ease the heel toward your seat, which makes it easy to do anywhere after leg work.

Setup
- 1Stand tall beside a wall or sturdy surface and rest one hand on it for balance.
- 2Shift your weight onto the leg nearest the wall and soften that knee slightly.
Execution
- 1Bend your free knee and take hold of that ankle or the top of the foot behind you.
- 2Bring your knees side by side and gently tuck your tailbone under.
- 3Ease the heel toward your seat until you feel a mild stretch down the front of the thigh.
