Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch

Instructions
A half-kneeling stretch for the front of the hip. A small tuck of the pelvis does most of the work, making it a gentle choice after long periods of sitting.

Setup
- 1Kneel on a mat or cushion and step one foot forward so both knees are bent to about ninety degrees.
- 2Rest your hands on your hips or front thigh and stack your shoulders over your hips.
Execution
- 1Squeeze the glute on the kneeling side and tuck your tailbone gently under.
- 2Shift your hips forward a few centimetres until you feel a mild stretch at the front of the back hip.
- 3Stay tall through the chest and hold for the target time.
