Band External Rotation
Also known as: Standing Band External Rotation, Banded Shoulder External Rotation
Instructions
A standing drill where you rotate your forearm outward against a light band with your elbow held at your side. An easy, low-fatigue way to train the muscles that turn the shoulder out.

Setup
- 1Anchor a light band at about elbow height.
- 2Stand side-on to the anchor and hold the band in the hand farthest from it.
- 3Bend that elbow to ninety degrees and tuck it against your side, forearm across your stomach.
- 4Step away until the band has light tension.
Execution
- 1Keeping the elbow against your side, rotate your forearm outward away from your body.
