Behind-the-Body Cable Curl

Instructions
A single-arm curl done facing away from a low pulley, so the working arm starts slightly behind your body. That position loads the biceps while they are lengthened and keeps tension on them for the entire rep.

Setup
- 1Set the pulley to the lowest position and attach a single handle.
- 2Hold the handle, turn to face away from the machine, and step forward into a staggered stance.
- 3Let the working arm hang straight and slightly behind your hip, palm facing forward, with the cable taut.
Execution
- 1Keeping your upper arm still and just behind your torso, curl the handle up toward your shoulder.
