Bodyweight Calf Raise
Also known as: Heel Raise, Single-Leg Calf Raise
Instructions
You rise onto the balls of your feet and lower back down using only your body weight. It trains the calves anywhere, and switching to one leg at a time makes it much harder without any equipment.

Setup
- 1Stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart and toes pointing forward.
- 2Rest your fingertips on a wall or sturdy surface for balance if you like.
- 3If a step is available, stand on its edge with your heels hanging free for a longer range.
- 4To make it harder, lift one foot off the floor and work one leg at a time.
Execution
- 1Press through the balls of your feet and lift your heels as high as you can.
