Single-Leg Calf Raise

Instructions
A calf raise on one leg with fingertips on a wall for balance. Putting all your weight on one calf doubles the load of the two-leg version with no equipment at all.

Setup
- 1Stand near a wall and rest your fingertips on it lightly.
- 2Lift one foot off the floor and stand tall on the other.
Execution
- 1Rise onto the ball of the foot as high as you can, pausing at the top.
- 2Lower the heel slowly until it is flat on the floor or slightly below if on a step.
- 3Finish the reps and then switch legs.
Breathing
Exhale as you rise; inhale as you lower.
