Instructions
A standing press with a cable handle in each hand. It trains the chest through a pressing motion while your trunk works to keep you steady, and the tension stays constant from start to finish.

Setup
- 1Set both pulleys to about chest height and take a handle in each hand.
- 2Step forward into a staggered stance so the cables are taut and the weight stack is lifted.
- 3Bring the handles beside your chest with elbows slightly below shoulder level and palms facing down.
Execution
- 1Brace your middle and lean very slightly forward from the ankles.
- 2Press both handles straight ahead until your arms are nearly straight and your hands are close together.
