Cable Low-to-High Woodchop
Also known as: Reverse Cable Woodchop, Cable Lift, Low-to-High Cable Chop
Instructions
A diagonal lift that carries the handle from beside one knee to above the opposite shoulder. It teaches the hips and trunk to turn together and builds rotational strength on an upward path.

Setup
- 1Set the pulley to the lowest position and attach a single handle or rope.
- 2Stand side-on to the machine with feet a little wider than your shoulders.
- 3Hold the handle with both hands beside the knee nearer the machine, knees softly bent and arms long.
Execution
- 1Brace your middle and push through your legs as you begin to turn away from the machine.
- 2Sweep the handle diagonally up across your body, letting the back foot pivot.
