Cable Y Raise

Instructions
A standing raise where crossed low cables are lifted up and out until your arms form a Y. It trains the upper back and shoulders to lift and steer the shoulder blades, with tension that never drops off.

Setup
- 1Set both pulleys to the lowest position and pick a light weight.
- 2Take the left handle in your right hand and the right handle in your left, so the cables cross in front of you.
- 3Step back a pace, stand tall with soft knees, and start with your hands in front of your thighs.
Execution
- 1With elbows almost straight, sweep your arms up and out on a diagonal.
- 2Finish with your hands above and wider than your shoulders, thumbs pointing behind you.
