Deep Squat Hold

Instructions
A relaxed sit in the bottom of a squat, held for time. It lets your ankles, knees, and hips settle into a deep bend so the position feels more familiar when you squat in training.

Setup
- 1Stand with feet a little wider than your hips and toes turned out slightly.
- 2Stand near a sturdy post or door frame if you would like something to hold for balance.
Execution
- 1Bend your knees and hips and lower yourself as far as is comfortable, keeping your whole foot on the floor.
- 2Rest your elbows inside your knees and gently guide the knees out over your toes.
- 3Lift your chest a little and settle into the position for the target time.
