Instructions
Skipping rope while stepping from one foot to the other, as if jogging on the spot. It is the easiest rope rhythm to keep going for a long time and the natural next step after two-foot bounces.

Setup
- 1Hold the rope handles at hip height with the elbows close to the ribs.
- 2Start with the rope behind the heels and stand tall.
Execution
- 1Swing the rope over and hop over it on one foot, then swing again and hop on the other.
- 2Keep the hops low and the rope turning from the wrists.
- 3Settle into a light jogging rhythm and hold it for the time.
Breathing
Breathe evenly in time with the rope.
