Reverse-Grip Cable Pushdown

Instructions
A cable pushdown taken with your palms facing up on a short straight bar. The underhand grip makes it hard to cheat with the shoulders, so lighter weights give the triceps clean, focused work.

Setup
- 1Attach a short straight bar to a high pulley.
- 2Grip the bar underhand at about shoulder width and step back half a pace.
- 3Stand tall with a slight forward lean and tuck your elbows against your sides.
Execution
- 1Start with your forearms just above level with the floor.
- 2Straighten your elbows to push the bar down toward your thighs.
