Reverse Lunge Knee Drive

Instructions
A reverse lunge that finishes by driving the back knee up to the chest as you stand, then stepping straight back into the next lunge. Done for time on one leg and then the other, it is a low-impact stand-in for jumping lunges.

Setup
- 1Stand tall with the feet hip-width apart and the hands by the chest.
- 2Choose which leg will lunge back first.
Execution
- 1Step one foot back and lower until both knees are bent to about ninety degrees.
- 2Push through the front foot and drive the back knee up in front of the hips as you stand.
- 3Step the same foot straight back into the next lunge without pausing.
