Standing Lat Stretch
Also known as: Doorframe Lat Stretch, Post Lat Stretch, Side-Lean Lat Stretch
Instructions
Holding a doorframe or post with one hand, you sit the hips back and away to lengthen the whole side of the back. It targets the lats after pulling work and needs nothing but something solid to hold.

Setup
- 1Stand side-on to a doorframe or post and grip it with the nearer hand at about head height.
- 2Step the feet slightly away and soften the knees.
Execution
- 1Push the hips back and away from the hand, letting the arm straighten.
- 2Lean the body slightly away from the post to deepen the stretch down the side of the back.
- 3Hold, then walk the feet in and switch sides.
