Child's Pose
Also known as: Resting Pose, Kneeling Back Stretch
Instructions
A restful kneeling position where you sit back toward your heels and reach your arms long in front. It gently lengthens the back and sides of the torso and is a good place to slow your breathing.

Setup
- 1Kneel on a mat with your big toes together and knees about hip-width apart or a little wider.
- 2Place your hands on the floor in front of you.
Execution
- 1Sit your hips back toward your heels, only as far as feels comfortable.
- 2Walk your hands forward and lower your chest between or onto your thighs.
- 3Rest your forehead on the floor or on stacked hands, and let your arms reach long.
