Standing Side Bend Stretch

Instructions
A standing reach up and over to one side that lengthens the whole flank, from the hip through the waist to the armpit. Quick to do and needs no floor space.

Setup
- 1Stand tall with your feet about hip-width apart and your weight even on both feet.
- 2Reach one arm straight overhead; rest the other hand on your hip or let it hang by your side.
Execution
- 1Reach the raised arm up first, as if making yourself taller.
- 2Lean up and over toward the opposite side until you feel a mild stretch along your waist and ribs.
- 3Keep your chest and hips facing forward, without tipping ahead or behind.
