Wide-Grip Lat Pulldown

Instructions
A seated pulldown with your hands set well outside your shoulders. The wide grip shortens the pull and asks the lats and upper back to do more of the work, with a little less help from the arms.

Setup
- 1Adjust the thigh pad so your legs are held snugly with your feet flat on the floor.
- 2Stand up and take the bar with palms facing away, hands about a hand's width outside each shoulder.
- 3Sit down with your arms long overhead and lean back just slightly.
Execution
- 1Start by drawing your shoulders down away from your ears.
- 2Pull your elbows down and out to the sides until the bar reaches your upper chest.
