Instructions
A push-up with your hands set well outside your shoulders. The wider base shortens the work your triceps do and asks more of your chest, giving a familiar exercise a fresh emphasis.

Setup
- 1Place your hands on the floor about one and a half times shoulder width apart, fingers pointing forward or turned out slightly.
- 2Step your feet back until your body forms a straight line from head to heels.
- 3Squeeze your glutes and brace your stomach.
Execution
- 1Bend your elbows and lower your chest between your hands, letting your elbows travel out to about forty-five to sixty degrees from your sides.
