Cable Glute Kickback

Instructions
With a strap around one ankle, you sweep that leg straight back against the cable. A simple way to work one glute at a time with light, steady resistance.

Setup
- 1Set the pulley to its lowest position and fasten an ankle strap around one ankle.
- 2Face the machine and hold its frame lightly with both hands for support.
- 3Hinge forward a little at the hips, soften the standing knee, and let the working foot hover just off the floor.
Execution
- 1Brace your middle so your lower back stays still.
- 2Sweep the strapped leg straight back by squeezing your glute, keeping the knee only slightly bent.
