Instructions
A row pulled from a pulley set above head height down to the upper chest. The downward-slanting line of pull sits between a pulldown and a level row, working the upper back and lats together.

Setup
- 1Set the pulley above head height and attach a bar, rope, or pair of handles.
- 2Grip the attachment and step back into a staggered stance until your arms are long and the stack is lifted.
- 3Lean back just slightly, lift your chest, and keep your knees soft.
Execution
- 1Begin by drawing your shoulder blades back and down.
- 2Pull the attachment toward your upper chest, driving your elbows down and behind you.
