Dumbbell Upright Row

Instructions
Standing tall, you pull two dumbbells up the front of your body by leading with your elbows. It trains the sides of the shoulders and the upper traps together, and dumbbells let your hands find their own path.

Setup
- 1Stand with feet hip-width apart holding a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, palms facing you.
- 2Set your shoulders down and back and keep a soft bend in your knees.
Execution
- 1Lift your elbows up and out to the sides, letting the dumbbells travel close to your body.
- 2Stop when your elbows reach about shoulder height, with your hands a little below them.
- 3Pause briefly, then lower slowly until your arms are straight.
