A pull-up performed on parallel handles with your palms facing each other. Many people find this grip the most natural on the wrists and elbows, and it lets the arms and back share the work evenly.

Setup
- 1Take hold of the parallel handles with your palms facing each other.
- 2Hang with straight arms and your feet clear of the floor.
- 3Bring your legs together slightly in front of you and tighten your midsection.
Execution
- 1Set your shoulders by pulling them down away from your ears.
- 2Drive your elbows straight down toward your ribs and lift your chest between the handles.
