Instructions
A pull-up done with your palms facing you. The underhand grip brings your biceps into the pull much more, and many people find it the friendlier of the two to learn first.

Setup
- 1Grip the bar with your palms facing you, hands about shoulder-width apart.
- 2Hang with your arms long and your legs together, slightly in front of your body.
- 3Draw your shoulders down away from your ears before the first rep.
Execution
- 1Pull your elbows down toward your ribs and lift your chest to the bar.
- 2Keep rising until your chin clears the bar without craning your neck.
