Instructions
From a full hang, you pull your body up until your chin clears the bar. A classic measure of upper-body pulling strength that builds the back, arms, and grip together.

Setup
- 1Grip the bar with palms facing away, hands slightly wider than your shoulders.
- 2Hang with your arms straight and your feet off the floor.
- 3Bring your legs together slightly in front of you and tighten your midsection.
Execution
- 1Begin by pulling your shoulders down away from your ears.
- 2Drive your elbows down toward your sides and lift your chest toward the bar.
