Instructions
A standing overhead press with one weight at a time. Pressing on one side asks your trunk to stop you from leaning, and it lets you give each shoulder your full attention.

Setup
- 1Stand with feet hip-width apart and hold one dumbbell or kettlebell at your shoulder.
- 2Keep your forearm upright and your elbow just in front of your body.
- 3Make a loose fist with your free hand at your side and tighten your glutes and midsection.
Execution
- 1Press the weight straight up until your arm is fully extended beside your ear.
- 2Keep your torso tall and centred rather than leaning away from the weight.
