Assisted Pistol Squat

Instructions
A one-leg squat where your hands hold a sturdy post or doorframe for light support. It lets you practise full single-leg depth while your arms take just enough of the load.

Setup
- 1Stand facing a sturdy post, doorframe, or other fixed upright and hold it at about chest height.
- 2Shift your weight onto one leg and lift the other foot in front of you.
- 3Stand close enough that your arms are bent and relaxed at the top.
Execution
- 1Sit back and down on the standing leg, letting your hands slide or walk down the support.
- 2Lower as deep as you can control, keeping the free leg off the floor.
