Dumbbell Sumo Squat

Instructions
A wide-stance squat with one weight hanging between your legs. The open stance brings the inner thighs into the work and keeps the torso tall and comfortable.

Setup
- 1Stand with your feet well outside shoulder width and toes turned out about forty-five degrees.
- 2Hold one dumbbell by its top end, or a kettlebell by the handle, with both hands and let it hang at arm's length.
- 3Lift your chest and tighten your midsection.
Execution
- 1Bend your knees and hips together, letting your knees travel out over your toes.
- 2Lower until your thighs reach about parallel or the weight nears the floor.
