A hip-powered move that brings a kettlebell from a swing between the legs to a resting spot at your shoulder. It builds crisp hip drive and is the gateway to pressing a kettlebell.

Setup
1Place the kettlebell about a foot in front of you and stand with feet shoulder-width apart.
2Hinge your hips back and grip the handle with one hand, thumb angled slightly back toward you.
3Flatten your back and hold your free arm out to the side.
Execution
1Hike the kettlebell back between your legs as you would for a swing.
2Snap your hips forward and keep your elbow close to your ribs as the bell floats up.
