Seated Forward Fold
Also known as: Seated Hamstring Stretch, Seated Toe Reach
Instructions
A floor stretch where you sit with legs long and fold gently forward. It lengthens the backs of the thighs and the lower back, and works well as a calm finish to a session.

Setup
- 1Sit on the floor with both legs extended in front of you, feet about hip-width apart.
- 2Sit on the edge of a folded towel if your lower back rounds straight away.
- 3Keep a soft bend in your knees.
Execution
- 1Sit tall, then hinge forward from your hips and walk your hands down your legs.
- 2Stop where you feel a mild stretch behind the thighs and rest your hands there.
