Standing Hamstring Stretch

Instructions
A standing stretch for the back of the thigh. One heel rests in front of you while you tip forward from the hips with a long spine, so no floor space or equipment is needed.

Setup
- 1Stand tall and place one heel on the floor a short step in front of you, toes pointing up.
- 2Keep the front leg nearly straight and bend the back knee slightly.
- 3Rest your hands on your hips or on the back thigh.
Execution
- 1Push your hips back and tip your chest forward with a long, flat back.
- 2Stop when you feel a mild stretch along the back of the front thigh.
