Tuck Jump

Instructions
A vertical jump in which both knees are pulled up to the chest at the top before landing softly. It builds explosive leg power and demands a quick, tight trunk.

Setup
- 1Stand with the feet hip-width apart on a surface with some give if possible.
- 2Bend the knees slightly and hold the hands at chest height.
Execution
- 1Dip quickly and jump as high as you can.
- 2At the top, drive both knees up toward the chest, keeping the torso upright.
- 3Extend the legs before landing and land softly on the balls of the feet, bending the knees.
