Instructions
Standing on a band, you hinge down and stand back up against its pull. The resistance grows as you rise, which makes it a friendly way to learn the deadlift pattern anywhere.

Setup
- 1Stand on the middle of a band with your feet about hip-width apart.
- 2Push your hips back and bend your knees slightly to reach down and grip the band on each side of your feet.
- 3Take up the slack so the band is already snug, with your back flat and your chest lifted.
Execution
- 1Press your feet into the floor and stand up by driving your hips forward.
- 2Keep your arms long and your hands close to your legs the whole way.
