Instructions
Running on the spot while lifting each knee to about hip height. It drives your heart rate up fast and sharpens quick, springy footwork in almost no space.

Setup
- 1Stand tall on a firm, level surface with your feet hip-width apart.
- 2Bend your elbows to about ninety degrees, as you would when running.
Execution
- 1Drive one knee up toward hip height, then switch legs quickly as if running in place.
- 2Land lightly on the ball of each foot and spring straight into the next step.
- 3Pump your arms in time with your legs, opposite arm to knee.
