Instructions
A dumbbell press done on a bench tilted partway up. The angle shifts more of the work to the upper chest and the front of the shoulders.

Setup
- 1Set the bench to a moderate incline, roughly a third of the way toward upright.
- 2Sit with a dumbbell on each thigh, then lean back and bring the weights up beside your upper chest.
- 3Plant your feet, keep your shoulder blades drawn back against the pad, and press the weights up to start.
Execution
- 1Lower the dumbbells slowly toward the outside of your upper chest.
- 2Stop when your hands are about level with your chest and your forearms are still upright.
