Instructions
An overhead press that begins with a short, sharp dip and drive from the legs. The leg drive lets you move more weight overhead and trains power from the ground up.

Setup
- 1Set the bar in a rack at upper-chest height and grip it just outside your shoulders.
- 2Step under the bar so it rests on the front of your shoulders, then walk it out.
- 3Stand with feet about hip-width apart, elbows slightly in front of the bar.
Execution
- 1Brace your trunk and dip straight down a few inches by bending your knees, keeping your torso upright.
- 2Drive up hard through your whole foot to pop the bar off your shoulders.
