You step one foot back, lower into a lunge, and return to standing, swapping legs each rep. A no-equipment way to build single-leg strength and balance.

Setup
- 1Stand tall with feet hip-width apart.
- 2Place your hands on your hips or hold them in front of your chest.
Execution
- 1Step one foot straight back and land softly on the ball of the foot.
- 2Bend both knees until the back knee hovers just above the floor.
- 3Keep your front foot flat and your chest lifted.
